Daniella Grinberg is a Hungarian and Russian artist and doctoral researcher working in Budapest, Hungary. Her situative installations are research projects which discuss the agency and violence of more-than-human relations.
Her work has been exhibited at Kisterem (2025), Budapest Gallery (2025), The Cosmic House Foundation (2024), Fotogalerie Wien (2023), House of Arts Veszprém (2023), the Austrian Cultural Forum (2023), FKSE Studio of Young Artists’ Association (2023), Art Market Budapest (2022), Q Contemporary (2022) and the Noorderlicht International Photo Festival (2021, 2020).
She is faculty at the Rippl-Rónai Institute of Arts and Theatre, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences in Kaposvár, while pursuing a PhD as part of the
Ecology & Action Lab at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, and lecturing at the MOME Future School.
Daniella obtained an MA and BA in Photography at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (2018-25), studied at the Photography MA of Aalto University School of Arts (2021-22), and the Institute of Fine Arts & Media Art of the University of Applied Arts in Vienna (2022-23). Grinberg was a Co-chair of the FKSE Studio of Young Artists’ Association and a member of the KIMDSZ Union of Fine Artists, Applied Artists and Art Workers. She participated in the Budapest Portfolio Review 2025 at the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center and at the Polycopies Portfolio Review in 2024.
